Sherman Home Destroyed By Fire On Frigid Night

SHERMAN, Conn. — Firefighters battled a blaze in a home on Deer Hill Road in Sherman as well as near-zero temperatures on Saturday night, according to the News-Times.

Neighbors reported the fire in the home, which was empty at the time, the News-Times said. It was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived and was destroyed in the blaze, the Sherman Volunteer Fire Department told the News-Times.

No injuries were reported, and the cause was under investigation, the News-Times said.
